One Day, in the not so distant future, 3 Galactic Space friends got together. Frustrated with the plastic state of modern music they decided to fire up the time machine and go back to a time when music was a little more exciting. No exact date was told but it’s believed to be somewhere between the late 70’s to early 80s. Inspired by the music scene that they took In, the 3 galactic friends travelled back to their present day, united, with the urge to create a more raw, rockin’, style of music; they came up with the band name, Silver Rocket Surfers. Several light years later which included one space fight with an octoclops, they released their first single, Bring Back Rock and Roll. This classic, punk rock, style song is a tribute to old time rock radio when rockstars and DJ’s both had attitude and the airwaves united rockers with the sounds of loud guitars, punchy drums and gritty vocals combined with catchy rock hooks. Band members
Zane Rocket – Lead Vocals and Guitar:
Enjoys the late 70s New York punk scene along with some of the early 80s post punk stuff. Has a large collection of guitars and is pretty much the band leader. If he had a super power it would be guitars that fire out lightning bolts when played by him only.
Tina Rocket – Bass Guitar (backing vocals sometimes):
Enjoys mostly early 80s post punk music but has been known to really rock out to some of the more heavier punk rock from that time along with select modern punk. She has only one bass guitar and she loves it! – It’s a white Fender P Bass with a pink pick guard. If she had a super power it would be a super speed ability like the flash.
Jimmy Rocket – Drums and backing vocals:
Enjoys classic rock (mostly the heavier stuff like Zeppelin, Sabbath, and The Who), but he also enjoys the classic late 70’s New York punk scene. His drum set is fairly basic consisting of a kick, snare, floor tom, mid tom, hi-hat, ride, and crash cymbals. If he had a super power it would be that he could play his drum sticks onto pretty much anything and cause it to rumble like an earthquake. He never goes anywhere without his drum sticks!
